Mental Health Support Page

Mental health support and awareness start page sometimes it can get overwhelming in life, please ask for help. The following are instructions, links and phone numbers are for ease of access if you need them.

Firstly, if you’re in immediate danger, call your emergency service number and ask for police if life-threatening or an ambulance if injured or suicidal to get help. This includes violence, domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse and suicide.

Secondly, if not immediate danger contact your GP and ask for an emergency appointment they will help to you get an on some type of mental health plan, this is helpful.

Thirdly, If you just need someone to talk until your GP’s appointment, the lists below will help you.

America (United States)

The Trevor Project: 866-488-7386 LGBTQ young people ages 13–24

Crises Text Line: Text 741-741 CTL offers free text support 24/7 for anyone in the United States.

Beyond Blue: 1300 22 4636 Depression and anxiety and reduce Mental health stigma, 24 hours/7 days a week, chat online or email.

Kids Helpline: 1800 55 1800 Free 24/7 confidential and private counselling specifically for children and young people aged 5 – 25.

Lifeline: 13 11 14, text on 0477 13 11 14 (12pm to midnight AEST) or chat online. Provides 24-hour crisis counselling, support groups and suicide prevention services.

MensLine Australia: 1300 78 99 78, online counselling service offering support to Australian men available 24 hours/7 days a week, chat online or organise a video chat.
